We will put you to work.

You will work along side homeowners and Baton Rouge residents to help clean and remove debris.
Your scope of work, could look like the following:
  • debris removal to curb
  • mud/dirt removal
  • cleaning of surfaces and appliances
  • removal of sheetrock/walls, to 1 foot above the water line
  • spraying of bleach to deter growth of mold

Put together your team, and come work with us.

You will be housed at First United Methodist Church, in our Youth Facility. We will provide you with meals, hot showers, and a comfy-ish bunk bed.

You will need to bring your own tools and supplies for debris removal or construction, as most tools and supplies are not available in the Baton Rouge area.

We suggest you bring the following (if you are able):

  • large shovels
  • wheelbarrows
  • skill saws/straight saws
  • chalk lines
  • squeegee brooms
  • push brooms
  • box fans

Each member of the work team, should bring the following:

  • closed toe shoes
  • protective eye-ware
  • hammer and crowbar/wonderbar
  • work gloves
  • safety mask for face
  • water bottle
  • sleeping bag and pillow
  • towel and toiletries
  • work clothes (clothes you can get really dirty)

If you have any questions, please contact us.
